KYLE CARDEN
HITTING & CATCHING
Kyle started working LOB Camps in 2012 focusing on hitting and catching skills.
Originally from Orangevale, California, Kyle worked his way to being a first team All League selection for Casa Roble High School, where he hit .404 and developed a name for himself as a catcher.
He first continued his collegiate career at Sacramento City College where he played for the Panthers from 2002-2004.Prior to working with Lou, Kyle was his teammate in 2004 at Sacramento City College, where their team was ranked #1 in Northern California.
In his time at Sacramento City he caught for several big league prospects, players that have participated in the futures game, and also a few players that have spent time in the big leagues, all of which he says made him that much better of a catcher. He hit .275 his sophomore year and proved to be a strong asset behind the plate, which lead to the opportunity to play out his remaining collegiate years for the University of Louisville.
In 2005-2006, Kyle finished his career with the Cardinals batting .333 and continued to have a strong presence behind the plate for his pitching staff. He earned a degree (BS) in Exercise Science/Health and Human Performance.
Kyle is looking forward to his current career in education, and the opportunities to continue coaching with both LOB and at the High School level.
